Registered Nurse (RN)

Willow Crest Hospital Inc. is currently looking for Registered Nurses (RN) to work at its facility in Miami, Oklahoma as well as Moccasin Bend Ranch just outside Miami.  The RN is responsible for providing and supervising all aspects of nursing care to assigned patients.

    Basic Qualifications

Possess or be eligible for a Registered Nurse license from the state of Oklahoma.

Minimum of one year nursing experience preferred in a children and adolescent psychiatric field.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Willow Crest Hospital Inc. is currently looking for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to work at its facility in Miami, Oklahoma as well as Moccasin Bend Ranch just outside Miami.  The LPN is under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the unit and shall participate in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care of assigned patients, and assists in the maintenance of the effective and efficient unit. 

     Basic Qualifications

Must hold a current Licensed Practical Nurse license in the State of Oklahoma.

Previous hospital, psychiatric, and/or chemical dependency treatment experience preferred.

Good written and communication skills are necessary.       

Recreational Therapist (RT)

Willow Crest Hospital Inc. is currently looking for Recreational Therapists (RT) to work at its facility in Miami, Oklahoma as well as Moccasin Bend Ranch just outside Miami.  The Recreational Therapist will be actively involved in assessing and reviewing individual patient histories in order to develop and implement appropriate R.T. related components of a comprehensive treatment plan.  Other activities may include developing, implementing and evaluating therapeutic recreation interventions for children and/or adolescent psychiatric patients, maintaining clinical competencies and contributing to the growth and quality of the Recreational Therapy Service.    

     Basic Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in therapeutic recreation or recreation with an emphasis in therapeutic recreation.

Must be certified as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (to include passing the NCRTC national certification exam), or be currently eligible to sit for the national certification exam and certification must be obtained within one year of hire.

Previous experience in a psychiatric setting desirable.  

Mental Health Specialist (MHS)

Willow Crest Hospital Inc. is currently looking for Mental Health Specialists to work at its facility in Miami, Oklahoma as well as Moccasin Bend Ranch just outside Miami.  The MHS participates in observing, reporting, and recording of patient behaviors under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse.  He/she is responsible for helping to provide a safe and secure environment and therapeutic milieu for patients and staff in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.       

     Basic Qualifications

This position requires the desire to work with children/adolescents as a positive role model.

Must possess high school diploma or GED.

Must be at least 21 years of age.  

Housekeeper

Willow Crest Hospital Inc. is currently looking for a Housekeeper to work at its facility in Miami, Oklahoma as well as Moccasin Bend Ranch just outside Miami.  The Housekeeper performs a variety of general cleaning tasks to maintain patient rooms, offices, hallways and other assigned areas of the facility. Work also includes maintaining stock levels on units and common areas of the facility.       

     Basic Qualifications

One year of training or experience in housekeeping, infection control and floor/ carpet maintenance.

Requires dependability, punctuality, and good physical condition.

Must have the ability to work harmoniously with all staff and to relate well with patients and visitors.
